Alhamdulillah, the blessed month of Ramadan is a time of reflection, compassion, and generosity. On the 8th day of this holy month, our dedicated team at House of Zakat and Waqf Uganda reached out to communities in Mizindaalo, Kayanja, Mirembe, and Kikuuta within Bukomansimbi District—approximately 160 kilometers from Kampala—to distribute much-needed Iftar packages.
In the true spirit of giving, we provided each household with a 15kg package containing essential food items: sugar, wheat flour, rice, maize flour, salt, and cooking oil. These supplies ensure that families can prepare a hot and nourishing meal to break their fast, bringing comfort and sustenance during this sacred period.
This initiative would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our generous partners, zakat payers, and donors. Your contributions continue to make a difference in the lives of those in need, spreading the warmth of Ramadan across communities.
May Allah (SWT) accept our efforts and reward all those who have given selflessly. Together, we can continue to uplift and support our brothers and sisters, fostering a stronger and more compassionate society.
